ABOUT ME

Renae Lapin has been blessed with immeasurable gratification and success in her career as a Family Therapist.  With the wisdom and strength of her clients, she has pivoted her experience out of the therapy room and into her mystery novels. Her writing imbues the same deep sense of trust, respect, creativity, and awe, which directed her career.  Great passion for her profession is reflected in the authenticity of her beloved characters, bringing them to life as everyone’s best friends. Lapin’s love of travel inspired her to relive her enchanting memories through their eyes. Unique story lines skillfully entwine both the expected and unexpected, with satisfying conclusions.

Dr. Renae Lapin, Psy.D. maintains her professional license as an LMFT, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Arizona. In her semi-retirement, Lapin provides Critical Incidence Stress Management, supporting businesses by addressing the immediate impact of crises in the workplace.

Born and raised in New York, Lapin spent half of her life living in Florida, and currently resides with her husband in Sedona, Arizona. They continue to enjoy traveling locally and abroad and have visited most of the U.S. National Parks. At home, she enjoys creating stained glass and hiking the Red Rock trails, while humbly accepting the solemn responsibility of stewardship of the land.
